A Jaguar 420 that was used in ITV’s recent hit series Tina and Bobby is to go on display at this weekend’s classic car show in Somerset.

Owned by Brian Kent, the fully restored vehicle featured several times on screen and was driven by both main actors Lorne MacFadyen and Michelle Keegan. The pair portray Bobby Moore and Tina Dean respectively in the drama which is based on the relationship between England’s 1966 World Cup-winning captain and his wife.

Head of the event Andy Kitchen said: “The three-part series aired in January so this is a star car very much in the public eye right now. We’re delighted to have it on display at our show this weekend.”

The new and improved Great Western Classic Car Show takes place at the Royal Bath & West Showground THIS WEEKEND February 11-12, with the famous Jaguar going on display as part of the exhibit from the event’s main sponsor and leading insurance firm Footman James.

Discounted tickets can be bought in advance of the weekend and offer a £2 saving against gate prices with a one day pass available for just £8. The show features hundreds of car and autojumble trade stands, club displays and private entries, and culminates with an auction of classic vehicles from Dorset-based Charterhouse on Sunday afternoon.
